If this is you, we would love to talk. **Responsibilities:** Act as a technical specialist in mechanical maintenance of Steelmaking Plant equipment (furnaces, converters, continuous casting, and auxiliary systems); Plan, monitor, and optimize preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities; Analyze critical and recurring failures, lead root cause investigations, and propose effective technical solutions; Provide technical support to maintenance teams, operations teams, and contracted companies; Develop and review maintenance plans, technical procedures, and work instructions; Monitor and analyze maintenance performance indicators (availability, MTBF, MTTR, and costs); Participate in maintenance shutdowns, ensuring proper planning, safe execution, and adherence to deadlines; Contribute to continuous improvement projects, equipment retrofitting, and implementation of new technologies; Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, and environmental standards. **Requirements:** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; Solid experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in Steelmaking or steel industry; Knowledge of large-scale equipment, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; Experience in failure analysis, reliability, and asset management; Experience in maintenance shutdowns and interface with suppliers and contracts; Postgraduate degree or specialization in Maintenance, Reliability, or related fields is desirable; Analytical profile, technical mindset, and ability to act as a reference in the area.
