Ensure accuracy and quality of received products. **Job Description: Goods Receiving Supervisor** ================================================================= #### **About the Position:** The Goods Receiving Supervisor is the professional responsible for supervising and coordinating all activities related to the receipt, verification, and initial storage of products and materials. This role is critical to ensuring inventory accuracy, the quality of received items, and supply chain efficiency, guaranteeing that products reach their final destination in perfect condition and within established deadlines. The professional will lead the receiving team, implementing and optimizing processes to ensure compliance with company standards and applicable regulations. #### **Main Responsibilities:** * Supervise and coordinate the goods receiving team, assigning tasks and ensuring adherence to procedures. * Plan and organize the flow of goods receipt, unloading, and material handling. * Conduct physical and documentary verification of received goods, checking quantity, quality, integrity, and conformity with invoices and purchase orders. * Identify and record discrepancies, damages, or non-conformities, taking necessary corrective actions and notifying responsible departments. * Ensure proper product identification and location assignment for storage, optimizing warehouse space and organization. * Maintain the inventory management system (WMS/ERP) updated with receipt information. * Prepare receiving reports, performance indicators, and quality control records. * Ensure order and cleanliness are maintained in the receiving area. * Guarantee compliance with occupational safety regulations and proper use of PPE by the team. * Train and develop the team, promoting continuous process improvement. * Interact with suppliers, carriers, and other departments (procurement, inventory, shipping) to resolve receiving-related issues. #### **Mandatory Requirements:** * Completed High School education. * Proven experience in the role of Goods Receiving Supervisor or Leader, Logistics, or Warehouse Management. * Knowledge of goods receiving, verification, and warehousing processes. * Proficiency with inventory management systems (WMS/ERP). * Leadership and team management capabilities. * Organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactivity. * Strong interpersonal communication skills.
