Responsibilities ; Perform mechanical maintenance activities—corrective or preventive—on production machines, including repairs using shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) and tasks involving torch use. Assess operating conditions, analyze root causes of breakdowns, and evaluate performance of machine and equipment components. ; Lubricate machines, components, and tools. Supervise and guide operators, assistants, and apprentices in mechanical maintenance tasks. Requirements ; Completed high school education. Technical course in Mechanics. Proven experience in industrial maintenance. Knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings. NR-35. Desirable: Hydraulics and Pneumatics course, and SMAW welding course.
