Description

Job Summary: Operate and program CNC cutting machines, perform adjustments, ensure quality, optimize production time, and maintain machinery in accordance with its original specifications. Maintain and care for machinery according to its original specifications Prepare and operate CNC cutting machines according to pre\-defined programming, performing adjustments and parameter corrections as necessary to ensure quality and improve production time. * Inspect machines (adjustment, calibration, cleaning) according to the Work Order before starting a production shift, making machine adjustments and controls; * Verify that materials allocated for cutting match those specified in the Work Order; * Operate the machine according to the established operating procedure, taking care of, maintaining, and cleaning it to preserve the machinery in accordance with its original specifications. * Monitor the cutting process closely to prevent possible deviations that could result in material waste or machine damage. * Adjust cutting parameters, speed, and gas pressure during the process to maintain established quality standards. * Execute and verify consumables used for cutting (lenses and nozzles) before and during operation. * Perform measurements (using calipers, tape measures, etc.) on parts to verify compliance with drawings. * Support maintenance processes by proactively identifying and reporting problems and deviations resulting from machine and equipment failures, providing operational information to maintenance personnel. * Assist in area performance indicator control by completing spreadsheets and performance reports and exchanging information with the area manager. * Immediately inform the direct supervisor whenever irregularities are observed on the machine so that necessary maintenance can be performed, prioritizing the preservation of work equipment. * Support immediate management on matters related to the operator's area of responsibility, presenting and discussing problems and irregularities as needed to assist in defining procedures and actions to be adopted. * Comply with safety regulations and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with internal standards. * Guide new employees on activities related to the area whenever necessary, accompanying them and facilitating their understanding of the equipment. * Participate in training sessions when required, dedicating full attention to achieve the desired work performance.
