We do all this guided by Ethics, Commitment, Humility, Innovation, and Boldness. We are looking for a Junior Laboratory Analyst to join our Quality team! Main Requirements * Technical, technological, or undergraduate degree (completed or in progress) in Chemistry, Biology, Food Engineering, Food Technology, or related fields; * Availability to work flexible hours; * Basic knowledge of laboratory physicochemical and/or microbiological analyses; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for records and controls); * Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and food safety principles; * Organizational skills and attention to detail; * Proactivity in executing tasks and solving problems; * Ability to work effectively in teams and communicate clearly; * Commitment to following regulations and procedures; * Prior experience in a quality control laboratory is desirable, preferably within the food or dairy industry; * Preferred: Knowledge of dairy sector legislation and quality management systems (HACCP, ISO, etc.). Key Responsibilities * Perform physicochemical and microbiological analyses of raw materials (raw milk), in-process products, and finished products; * Conduct tests such as acidity, density, cryoscopy, fat content, protein content, and other quality parameters for milk and its derivatives; * Monitor compliance with food quality and safety standards according to current legislation (MAPA, ANVISA, and internal standards); * Collect production samples and ensure proper identification, storage, and traceability; * Record analysis results in systems and spreadsheets, ensuring data reliability and traceability; * Prepare technical reports and support critical analysis of laboratory results; * Assist in investigating non-conformities and propose corrective and preventive actions; * Perform calibration and verification of laboratory equipment; * Maintain laboratory organization, cleanliness, and equipment preservation per good practices; * Strictly adhere to biosafety, hygiene, and occupational health and safety regulations; * Support internal and external audits related to food quality and safety; * Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Logistics departments to ensure product compliance; * Participate in continuous improvement programs and statistical process control.
