CLINICAL PATHOLOGY TECHNICIAN * Register exams in the system of partner laboratories. * Perform arterial, venous blood collection and collection of other biological materials, according to internal standards, for diagnostic purposes. * Deliver medical requests and collected materials to other assisting teams responsible for collections. * Prepare biological materials for shipment to support laboratories according to institutional standardized procedures. * Perform internal quality control and test measurements using point-of-care devices. * Clean and organize the biological material storage room and equipment managed by the department. * Assist in controlling the inventory of department supplies and assemble collection kits. * Organize exam request forms and deliver them to the billing department. Relay all information regarding daily department routines to the area coordinator or designated personnel. * Serve as a liaison between the department and other areas of the institution whenever necessary. Work schedule: Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 16:00 hours and Saturdays from 07:00 to 11:00 hours. Requirements: Completed course in Clinical Pathology Technology. Active registration with the Regional Pharmacy Council. Minimum of 6 months of experience in venous and arterial sample collection. Experience in biological material collection in hospitals is desirable. Experience with blood gas analyzer testing equipment is desirable.
