Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for sewing and inspecting various mattress and cover components, as well as operating overlock machines. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sewing of mattress side panels and covers 2. Inspection of non-conforming items 3. Overlock machine operation * Sew mattress side panels and joining covers, sealing the perimeter; * Sew labels onto mattress and bed side panels; * Sew children's pillow covers; * Sew bed covers; * Sew pillow-top mattress side panel closures with Europillow; * Inspect non-conforming side panels; * Fulfill immediate supervisor's requests within the scope of work. Overlock Tasks: * Inspect non-conforming mattress tops; * Perform overlock stitching along the perimeter of spring mattress tops; * Store mattress tops on shelves; * Sew Unibox covers and joining covers; * Embroider spring mattress names onto side panels; * Fulfill immediate supervisor's requests within the scope of work.
