This professional will serve as the operational team’s reference point for corporate EHS tools and leadership programs. **What do we want to know about you?** * Extensive experience in highly complex industrial environments * Technical degree in Occupational Safety, registered with the Ministry of Labor * Advanced knowledge of Brazilian Regulatory Standards (NRs) and labor legislation * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite * Proactive, organized, solution-oriented, and detail-oriented * Intermediate English proficiency * Driver's License Category B ***Desirable:*** * Basic Power BI skills * Experience with legal compliance monitoring software (e.g., Greenlegis, SOGI, SALEGIS) **What will your day-to-day look like?** You will join a complex industrial plant with numerous high-risk activities, working directly with local leadership to eliminate, prevent, and mitigate risks, supported by an EHS team in decision-making. * Deliver safety training to employees per the training matrix, applying safety concepts and raising awareness of workplace hazards; * Support management of behavioral safety programs; * Conduct activity inspections and audits focused on risks, documents, and internal Wabtec and contractor programs; * Hold periodic meetings with contractors to ensure adherence to Wabtec standards and current legislation; * Knowledge of MTE Regulatory Standards, eSocial, and associated EHS legal requirements; * Support compliance with legal and corporate requirements by systematizing all applicable processes within your scope; * Manage fire prevention and suppression systems, ensuring integrity and proper functionality; * Manage risks associated with routine and non-routine activities—identifying key activity risks and proposing and monitoring implementation of controls; * Authorize, monitor, and complete documentation required for execution of high-risk activities; * Contribute to implementation of EHS procedures; * Lead investigations of incidents (Near Misses/Right to Refuse) and EHS accidents; * Assess/monitor environmental exposures; provide technical support for assessment and application; * Conduct safety campaigns; * Proactively support factory leadership in operational activities; * Perform administrative control activities alongside the EHS department; * Manage CIPA (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention). **Benefits:** At Wabtec, people come first.
