**Responsibilities and Duties**
**As a Kitchen Assistant, your main challenges will be:**
* Assist chefs and pastry chefs in specific tasks as assigned;
* Perform food pre-preparation (mise en place) according to chef/supervisor instructions;
* Execute basic food cutting, washing, sorting, and portioning;
* Organize ingredients, utensils, and equipment required for operations;
* Support plating of simple dishes when requested;
* Assist in finishing preparations during peak-demand routines;
* Sanitize utensils, pots, equipment, surfaces, and kitchen areas;
* Perform plongeur duties—as assigned—to ensure cleaning of dishes and operational items;
* Maintain organization of workbenches, cold rooms, storage areas, and support zones;
* Prepare and organize the kitchen for opening and closing, per schedule;
* Respond to urgent restocking requests during service;
Execute deep-cleaning routines per department schedule.

**Requirements and Qualifications** **We seek a candidate with:**
* Completed high school;
**You’ll stand out if you have:**
* Prior experience in professional kitchens (restaurants, hotels, catering, or educational institutions);
* Experience working in high-end restaurant operations is desirable.
**Location and Work Schedule:**
* Belo Horizonte/MG (on-site);
* Monday to Saturday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with availability to work Saturdays and nighttime events when necessary.
