Job Summary: The Operations and Logistics Analyst will be responsible for analyzing data to optimize operations, reduce costs, and improve fleet efficiency, working with BI tools and strategic interfaces. Key Highlights: 1. Work on the development and management of the Logistics Intelligence Tower. 2. Conduct operational data and trip performance analyses. 3. Define and monitor critical KPIs for optimization and cost reduction. The Operations and Logistics Analyst will analyze data generated from compression/decompression facilities and natural gas transportation trips, providing insights for cost reduction, operational optimization, and improved fleet efficiency. The role involves working with real-time and historical data to create reports, dashboards, APIs, and algorithms that support strategic decision-making by management. Additionally, the analyst will maintain a strategic interface with the finance department for measurement analysis and billing monitoring, and collaborate with logistics programming teams to develop BI dashboards supporting customer delivery monitoring. **Development and Management of the Logistics Intelligence Tower:** · Actively participate in the conception, development, and maintenance of the Logistics Intelligence Tower, ensuring end-to-end integration and visibility of logistics chain data. · Develop and implement Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards and interactive dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense) to monitor logistics and operational KPIs. · Collaborate with logistics programmers to identify information needs and develop analytical solutions optimizing delivery tracking. **Operational Data Analysis and Trip Performance:** · Collect, process, and analyze large volumes of operational data (compression/decompression facilities, transportation trips), including travel time, fuel consumption, and costs. · Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in data to propose continuous improvements in operational efficiency and fleet management. · Perform comparative performance analyses between owned and third-party fleets. **Tools and Technologies** · Diligently use company-specific route and logistics management software, TMS, GPS, and other geolocation systems provided by the company. · Base work on data to identify optimization trends or anticipate challenges. **Management of Logistics (KPIs) and Financial Indicators:** · Define and monitor critical KPIs: Cost/km, Cost/m³, Average loading/unloading time, Fuel efficiency, Occupancy rate, Idle time, and OTIF. · Interact with the finance department to analyze measurements, monitor billing, and ensure financial data accuracy. · Generate periodic and ad\-hoc reports for management, including data-driven recommendations. **Optimization and Cost Reduction:** · Map and analyze patterns of fuel waste, vehicle wear, and additional costs, proposing corrective actions. · Assess the impact of variables such as routes, weather, and timing on logistics costs. · Develop and apply predictive analytics models to anticipate challenges. · Suggest data-based improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. **Creation of Dashboards and Analytical Reports:** · Develop interactive dashboards in Power BI for visualization of operational data. · Automate logistics performance reports for managerial use. · Generate insights for continuous operational optimization. REQUIREMENTS: **Academic Qualifications:** · **Required**: Completed undergraduate degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Data Science, or related fields. · **Preferred**: Postgraduate degree in Data Analytics, BI, or Logistics. **Professional Experience:** · **Required**: Minimum of 1 year of experience in data analysis or logistics intelligence. · **Preferred**: Experience in hazardous cargo transportation or implementation of Control Towers. **Technical Skills:** · Advanced proficiency in Excel (Power Query, VBA) and BI tools (Power BI). · Knowledge of SQL and programming languages (Python or R). · Familiarity with Logistics Management Systems (TMS, ERP) and Telematics. · Advanced English (technical reading and writing). · Basic knowledge of predictive analytics and statistics applied to logistics (desirable). **Behavioral Skills:** · Strong analytical ability, proactivity, and strategic thinking. · Excellent interpersonal communication skills for interfacing with Finance and Operations departments. · Attention to detail and organizational skills in data handling. · Ability to translate technical data into practical management insights. · Emotional balance. · Customer focus. · Innovation mindset.
