Job Summary: Tax Assistant to ensure accuracy and compliance of tax processes, supporting the tax department in essential activities. Key Highlights: 1. Review of direct and indirect taxes, and ancillary obligations We are seeking a Tax Assistant to ensure the accuracy and compliance of tax processes. You will be responsible for ensuring all transactions comply with applicable legislation, supporting the tax department in essential activities critical to the company's financial and legal health. **Main Responsibilities:** * Classify and reconcile financial entries, ensuring their tax implications; * Conduct tax verification of incoming and outgoing invoices (goods and services); * Review direct and indirect taxes (ICMS, IPI, ISS, PIS, COFINS, among others); * Monitor correct application of withholding tax rates on service invoices; * Assist in reviewing ancillary obligations (SPED Fiscal, SPED Contributions, GIA, DCTF, etc.); * Support tax bookkeeping and monthly closing, identifying discrepancies and correcting entries; * Respond to tax inspections, audits, and clients by providing required documents and information; * Monitor current tax legislation and suggest process improvements; * Organize and archive tax documents; * Issue and manage sales billing and tax movements (NFS, NFE, INVOICE, ND). Requirements: * Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting Sciences, Business Administration, or related fields; * Prior experience in tax/accounting departments; * Experience issuing invoices; * Availability to work 100% onsite in Jardim Canadá \- Nova Lima.
