Job Summary: We are seeking an Accounting Analyst for an accounting firm, responsible for journal entries, tax calculations, financial statement closing, and client support. Key Highlights: 1. Continuous improvement of accounting and tax processes ***We are looking for a qualified professional to work as an Accounting Analyst at an Accounting Firm.*** **Work Arrangements:** * CLT employment contract; * Working Hours: Monday to Thursday (7:30 AM to 5:30 PM\) and Friday (7:30 AM to 4:30 PM\); * Fully in-person work model; * Office located in the central region of Belo Horizonte. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform and review accounting journal entries and account reconciliations. * Calculate and analyze direct and indirect taxes, ensuring compliance with legislation. * Close the balance sheet and prepare monthly and annual financial statements. * Maintain accounting and tax compliance according to current regulations. * Prepare and file federal, state, and municipal ancillary obligations. * Monitor changes in tax legislation and their impact on clients. * Use accounting systems (Domínio, Conta Azul, Omie) to automate processes and improve efficiency. * Prepare financial reports and analyses to support clients’ decision-making. * Provide client support and guidance regarding ancillary obligations and accounting standards. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal accounting and tax processes. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences, Economics, or related fields. * Extensive experience in accounting analysis. * Prior experience in an accounting firm is desirable. * Proficiency in Domínio, Conta Azul, and Omie accounting systems. * Excellent Excel skills. * Advanced knowledge of federal, state, and municipal tax legislation. * Up-to-date on the ongoing tax reform. * An active CRC registration will be a differentiating factor for candidates.
