Provision of first aid and emergency training Conducts fire prevention and suppression, rescue operations, and hazardous materials incident control to ensure the safety of people and property in buildings, companies, and events. Prepares for incident response by inspecting equipment functionality and reviewing the site’s emergency plan. Provides first aid to victims of incidents and accidents. Communicates with the public to guide them. Conducts incident simulations and evacuation drills for training purposes. Complies with legislation, private security standards, occupational health and safety regulations, biosafety standards, and environmental protection standards. **Responsibilities and Duties** Prepares for incident response by inspecting equipment and vehicle functionality. Requests equipment and vehicle maintenance services when necessary. Performs physical exercises and other conditioning activities to maintain physical and psychological fitness during operations. Reviews the site’s emergency plan, developed by a qualified professional or specialized company. Prevents accidents — such as fires and leaks — through site reconnaissance, risk area mapping, and facility inspections. Conducts periodic inspections of fire-fighting equipment — including functional testing — and requests maintenance services when required. Inspects and marks hazardous areas and establishes evacuation routes. Responds to fire incidents by defining an action plan. Triages received information to assess fire scale and type, and analyze risk situations. Evacuates the site and isolates the fire area. De-energizes the site. Connects water hoses and confines firefighting efforts to the affected area. Extinguishes the fire. Removes fire residues, eliminating potential re-ignition sources and other hazards. Preserves the scene for forensic investigation. May shore up walls, floors, and roofs. Performs high-angle and search-and-rescue operations. Locates victims at height, approaches them, engages with them, and carries out their rescue. Conducts ground search operations, digging at burial sites, cutting metal debris, and extracting victims. Performs aquatic rescues, removing victims from water and rescuing them. May capture animals generally, keeping them secure until professional rescue arrives. Controls hazardous materials incidents by identifying the substances involved. Contains container leaks by constructing containment dikes. Establishes a safety perimeter around the leaking substance and evacuates the public from the area. Monitors atmospheric conditions to anticipate possible dispersion of the leaked substance. Repackages hazardous materials. May set up decontamination corridors. Provides first aid to victims of incidents and accidents, assessing basic parameters including respiratory rate, heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, body temperature, and level of consciousness. Clears the victim’s airway. In case of cardiac arrest, performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillation on-site. Identifies injuries and hemorrhages and applies hemostasis. In case of fractures, immobilizes cervical and vertebral regions on-site, stabilizes, calms, and transports the victim to a medical center. May conduct victim anamnesis until arrival of medical assistance. Simulates incidents and site evacuation to train residents and employees of buildings and company staff. May participate in educational campaigns and deliver training to equip voluntary emergency response teams. Communicates with and guides the public, engaging in dialogue and listening to victim accounts. Exchanges information with the operations center. Prepares incident reports according to established standards. May propose suggestions for improving safety conditions. Operates in accordance with safety and biosafety standards, undergoing periodic medical examinations, receiving vaccinations, and using personal protective equipment (PPE) and collective protective equipment.
