As a member of a multidisciplinary team, deliver complete electrical panel solutions for a project (including low-voltage motor control centers (MCCs), low-voltage power centers, medium-voltage panels, low- and medium-voltage inverter drive panels, among others), ensuring the project meets customer requirements, contractual obligations, and regulatory standards.**Job Description** =================== **Responsibilities** * Execute electrical design projects for medium-voltage panels, low-voltage power centers, low-voltage MCCs, and control panels, in compliance with national and international standards; * Specify the electrical components to be used in a given project, in accordance with customer specifications and applicable technical standards. * Analyze all technical documentation provided for the project—including documentation received from the customer and from our commercial department—to ensure conformance with scope. * Flag any changes or deviations from the project scope identified during execution that could impact engineering labor costs or material costs, and escalate them to responsible engineers. * Schedule tasks according to planned dates provided by the planning department; monitor predecessor activities and alert responsible engineers when such activities cause delays; * Support lead engineers in monitoring project deliverables and actively participate where project teams would benefit from technical intervention. * Support lead engineers in resolving technical issues related to ongoing projects, equipment under testing, or operational platforms. Collaborate with other GE businesses, subcontractors, and suppliers, as appropriate, to support the project and business. * Provide technical advice and assistance to the overall project team, as appropriate—including Commissioning and Service. * Improve engineering process efficiency through development and application of standardized engineering solutions across projects. * Comply with all company and customer health and safety regulations. * Share acquired knowledge and successful new experiences from specific projects with the engineering team, so they become best practices for future projects; **KPIs** * OTD – On Time Delivery. * FTY – First Time Yield. RNCs (RNCs / tested cubicle). * RNC response time. * HH efficiency (hours spent / hours sold). **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. * Proficiency in English to collaborate effectively within an international project team. * Fluency in Portuguese. **Desired Characteristics** * Experience in electrical engineering within relevant industries (Marine, Mining, Power Generation, Renewables, Oil & Gas, etc.). * In-depth knowledge of ABNT and IEC standards for medium- and low-voltage switchgear. * Experience in engineering design, application, testing, or commissioning environments, with experience in one or more of the following areas: * Specification and application of low-voltage switchgear and equipment. * Specification and application of medium-voltage switchgear and equipment. * Specification and application of supervision panels. * Specification and application of medium- and low-voltage inverter panels. * Specification and application of PLC panels. * Personal Attributes Ability to manage multiple tasks across various projects under tight deadlines. * Excellent communication skills. * Proactive, accurate, and detail-oriented. * Strong report writing skills. * Strong personal organizational skills. * Circumstances * Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for short-term assignments.
