




Description: PROFILE * Experience in design, development, and launch of automotive ECUs (electronic modules); * Experience with Controller Area Network (CAN) — familiarity with CAN/Ethernet communication protocols and troubleshooting tools; * Experience with Vector CAN tools (CANalyzer, CANape, and CANoe); * DFMEA; * Prior experience in Driver Assistance Systems based on ultrasonic sensors, radar, and camera systems; * Global knowledge of the NCAP safety program; * Valid driver’s license (CNH Category B, minimum required to drive and test vehicles); * Willingness to travel (up to 4 weeks duration, occasionally). * Knowledge of root cause analysis and DFSS troubleshooting techniques. EDUCATION * Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent. * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Automation, Electronics, Mechatronics & Mechanical); LANGUAGES English — Fluent Portuguese — Native/Fluent LOCATION Betim — MG * Develop ECU diagnostics; perform HW project development, FMEA & DVPR reviews/approvals, process standards, in-plant calibrations, launch support, and safe launch plans; * Lead component packaging and component/system HW/SW validation plans; * Drive quality identification, rapid response assurance, technical cost reduction, etc.; * Identify risks and maintain detailed risk assessment, mitigation, and management plans—including risk escalation and senior leadership engagement; * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute and validate complex brake control systems. 251219020255303075
