### **Job Summary** A professional responsible for monitoring, controlling, and supervising refractory renovation activities on industrial equipment in the coke plant area, ensuring correct execution of work in accordance with project documents, technical specifications, operational procedures, applicable standards, and safety requirements. Will work directly on-site to ensure quality, productivity, adherence to schedules, and technical compliance of executed activities. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Supervise refractory renovation activities on coke plant industrial equipment, ensuring compliance with project documents and technical specifications; * Monitor on-site execution of work, ensuring quality, productivity, and adherence to established schedules; * Verify proper application of refractory materials, construction methods, and operational procedures; * Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental standards during activity execution; * Conduct technical inspections and supervise work fronts, identifying deviations and proposing corrective actions; * Monitor executing teams and contracted companies, ensuring adherence to technical and operational standards; * Validate measurements, physical progress, and evidence of activity execution; * Monitor area releases, work permits, and applicable safety documentation; * Prepare monitoring reports, inspection records, and technical reports for the project; * Interface with maintenance, operations, engineering, and occupational safety teams; * Ensure organization, cleanliness, and compliance with internal procedures throughout the entire project execution; * Support control of materials, resources, and operational needs related to refractory renovation. ### **Requirements** * Completed technical education, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Construction, or related fields; * Experience in supervision and monitoring of industrial construction projects; * Practical experience in refractory renovation activities within steelmaking environments, coke plants, or similar industrial settings; * Knowledge of reading and interpreting drawings and technical specifications; * Familiarity with safety standards applicable to industrial activities and maintenance shutdowns; * Experience in supervising third-party companies and conducting on-site inspections; * Desired knowledge of quality control and inspection of refractory services; * Availability to work on-site and monitor operational activities.
