As a **Senior Technical Consultant**, you will be responsible for the development, sizing, and implementation of mechanical solutions for industrial equipment designed for refractory applications—from conceptualization through field commissioning. The professional will have strong involvement in structural calculations, motor sizing, final control elements, mechanical design, technical customer support, and integration with electrical, pneumatic, and automation projects. Additionally, the role entails technical leadership for a specific machine segment within the product portfolio, serving as the technical reference for these machines.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Perform structural calculations to validate mechanical integrity and operational safety
* Create technical drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
* Specify materials, components, and manufacturing processes
* Monitor manufacturing and assembly processes
* Monitor installation and commissioning processes
* Conduct technical site visits for data collection and field diagnostics
* Propose technical improvements and solutions aimed at enhancing performance and reducing costs
* Serve as the technical lead for a machine segment within the portfolio, ensuring standardization, technological advancement, and support for internal and customer requirements
* Interface with suppliers, customers, and internal departments
* Develop layout studies
**Required Knowledge and Skills:**
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
* Solid experience in developing industrial machinery and equipment
* Advanced knowledge of structural calculations, structural sizing, and motors
* Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
* Familiarity with manufacturing processes (welding, machining, boiler-making)
* Willingness to travel
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience in structural simulations
* Experience producing videos and animations for marketing solutions or demonstrating functionality
* Experience in base industries (steelmaking, mining, metallurgy)
* Experience developing refractory application solutions
* Experience in layout studies and projects involving robotic cells
