For more information, visit Worley.com We are seeking a **Geotechnical Engineer** to join our project team. **Requirements:** * Knowledge of technical documentation preparation, application of fundamental engineering theories, techniques, and practices, as well as standards, regulations, building codes, and manufacturing specifications; * Postgraduate degree or master’s degree in Geotechnics or related fields; * Prior experience in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering within the mining sector, including involvement in multidisciplinary projects, dam foundations, earthworks, retaining structures, and other geotechnical structures; * Intermediate or advanced English (spoken, written, and comprehension); * Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams, along with ability to research and organize information per internal policies; * Experience with geotechnical analysis software such as Plaxis, GeoStudio, Leapfrog, and others. **Responsibilities:** * Collect data, prepare engineering studies, analyses and calculations, formulate recommendations, and finalize documentation for client approval; * Develop design criteria, technical and/or service specifications, descriptive memoranda for structures, and support the discipline supervisor; * Perform stability and safety analyses of slopes and retaining structures; * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project integration; * Prepare technical reports and other necessary project documentation. **Location:** Belo Horizonte, MG (hybrid work model).
