Therefore, here you will find people from different places and backgrounds, yet united by their belief in the importance of unity and the power of support and inclusion. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Conduct and assist in sampling—according to appropriate methodologies—for potable water, wastewater, groundwater, soil and sediment collection, surface or deep water, and waste, in accordance with applicable standards and procedures; * Sort and organize supplies and equipment required to perform tasks; * Be available for travel when necessary, according to the schedule defined by the department; * Use necessary tools and equipment to perform tasks, measure field parameters, and handle samples in accordance with proper procedures and equipment; * Take responsibility for generated field records, correctly completing sampling documentation; * Safeguard and assume responsibility for preserving collected samples in accordance with applicable standards and procedures; * Safeguard and assume responsibility for the use and maintenance of vehicles, tools, and equipment used during sampling. **Requirements and Qualifications** For this position, the following qualifications are required: * Completed undergraduate degree or technical diploma in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related fields. * Availability for travel; * Valid driver’s license, Category B; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
