We are looking for an **Occupational Safety Technician** to join our team, responsible for: Directly managing safety during maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with legal and internal requirements, promoting a prevention culture, and guaranteeing the safe execution of operations. **Responsibilities:** **Safety Documentation Management:** * Assist and guide teams in preparing safety documents, such as Preliminary Risk Analysis (PRA), Work Permits (WP), and pre-use equipment checklists. * Audit PRAs to ensure correct hazard identification and effectiveness of proposed control measures. * Validate Work Permits for critical activities, including confined space entry, working at heights, hot work, and load lifting. **Risk Supervision and Control:** * Conduct on-site supervision of maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and standards. * Perform Observations of Attitudes and Behaviors (OAB), providing constructive feedback to employees. * Identify unsafe conditions and acts, taking immediate corrective actions and, when necessary, halting activities. * Inspect Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Collective Protective Equipment (CPE), verifying their condition and proper usage. * Monitor risk area isolation and signage during maintenance activities. **Safety Education and Culture:** * Participate daily in Daily Safety Dialogues (DSD), addressing topics relevant to ongoing activities. * Lead Safety Hours with maintenance teams. * Train and guide employees on the correct preparation and completion of safety documents. * Promote behavioral safety culture, encouraging employee ownership in risk identification. **Reporting and Communication:** * Prepare shift reports, documenting supervised activities, identified deviations, actions taken, and pending items. * Immediately report serious and imminent risk situations to leadership. * Develop periodic safety performance reports to support management decision-making. **Requirements:** * Technical qualification in Occupational Safety (or related fields). * Field experience in industrial environments. * Knowledge of preparing and analyzing PRAs, WPs, and safety documents. * Experience supervising critical activities (working at heights, confined spaces, hot work, load lifting). * Proficiency in preparing technical reports. **Desirable Competencies:** * Proactivity and critical thinking in risk identification. * Strong communication and influencing skills. * Observant and disciplined profile. * Ability to work under pressure and make rapid decisions in risky situations. * Commitment to safety culture and continuous improvement.
