




Job Description: * Bachelor's degree in Nursing. * Active registration with COREN. * Experience in caring for oncology patients. * Postgraduate qualification in Intensive Care Therapy preferred. * Health Management or related fields. * Knowledge of hospital accreditation processes. * Staff and bed allocation for the unit according to the institution’s care model. * Ensure accurate preparation, documentation, and maintenance of patient medical records, guaranteeing continuity of care and billing compliance with current legislation. * Plan, perform, and document nursing-exclusive procedures in accordance with legal regulations and institutional protocols, including: * Complex wound dressings (stroke, central venous catheter, totally implanted catheter, pressure injuries requiring specialized dressings); * Urinary and enteral catheterizations; * Punctures (totally implanted catheter and external jugular vein); * Administration of antineoplastic therapies and hemocomponents; * Debridement of wounds based on evaluation and indication by the specialized committee; * Performance of bone marrow transplantation per protocol; * Application and monitoring of clinical assessment scales and scores (e.g., Braden, Morse). * Safely transport inpatients and outpatients while monitoring clinical status, invasive devices, and life support, per COFEN/COREN protocols and regulations. * Conduct daily patient visits applying the Nursing Care Systematization (SAE), managing risks and planning care. * Actively participate in quality management, hospital accreditation processes, and institutional certifications. * Supervise, guide, and evaluate the nursing team in performing activities and procedures. * Ensure effective communication with the medical and interdisciplinary teams, reporting complications and participating in clinical discussions and discharge planning. * Provide guidance to patients and their families regarding care delivered. * Train and mentor newly hired staff, providing continuous feedback. * Plan and conduct training sessions per institutional capacity-building programs. * Participate in the evaluation, testing, and technical assessment of new equipment and supplies. * Contribute to the development and revision of the unit’s clinical protocols. * Ensure proper functioning of equipment, optimize resource use, and monitor preventive maintenance. * Supervise cleaning, organization of the unit, and compliance with biosafety standards. * Monitor staff attendance, absenteeism, and personal appearance. * Report healthcare incidents and non-conformities, proposing corrective actions and improvements. * Assist in collecting, critically analyzing, and tracking the unit’s clinical indicators. * Apply disciplinary measures per institutional policies. * Supervise appropriate use of PPE and compliance with NR-32. * Participate in departmental and institutional meetings. 2512170202551922910
