**Technical Buyer – Industrial Automation** **Job Mission** Plan, execute, and manage technical procurement processes for electrical and electronic materials for industrial automation projects, ensuring optimal cost, quality, and delivery terms aligned with the company’s needs. **Key Responsibilities** * Plan and execute technical procurement of electrical and electronic materials. * Negotiate with national and international suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery terms. * Issue purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and ensure compliance of received materials. * Prepare analytical reports on supplier performance, purchasing history, and cost analysis. * Manage returns and resolution of non-conforming materials. * Update price lists and share strategic information with internal departments. * Support the identification and qualification of new suppliers in accordance with company standards. **Job Requirements** * **Education:** Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnology, Automation, Electromechanics, or related fields. * **Experience:** * Technical or industrial procurement. * Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical specifications. * **Knowledge:** * Electrical and electronic components (cables, circuit breakers, sensors, inverters, PLCs, etc.). * Technical standards (NBR, IEC). * ERP systems, basic cost accounting, taxation, and logistics. * **Skills:** * Negotiation and supplier management. * Organization and critical analysis. * **Other Requirements:** * Valid Brazilian driver’s license (Category B). * Residency or easy access to Contagem – MG region. **Behavioral Competencies** * Proactivity and results orientation. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. **Preferred Qualifications** * Technical English for negotiation with international suppliers. * Experience in procurement for complex industrial automation projects.
