Description

The Production Assistant directly participates in the operational stages of manufacturing ice cream, fruit pulp, sweets, and frozen products, performing tasks such as weighing, preparation, packaging, sanitation, operation of simple machinery, and workplace organization. They are responsible for maintaining production pace, following operational procedures, complying with safety and quality standards, supporting inventory control, and working across different departments as required. This is an operational role requiring attention, consistency, discipline, and physical capability to work in cold environments, perform repetitive tasks, and handle material handling. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist in weighing syrups and ingredients used in production. * Perform product packaging and support primary packaging according to quality standards. * Carry out washing and sanitation of molds, utensils, machinery, and work areas, including deep cleaning. * Operate low-complexity machinery, such as popsicle packaging equipment and mold-filling machines. * Assist in assembling and disassembling machinery for sanitation and process changes. * Assist in preparing products such as fruit pulp, sweets, and various mixtures per supervisor instructions. * Contribute daily to workplace organization, cleanliness, and maintenance in accordance with operational procedures. * Assist in counting, verification, and inventory control, recording material inflows and outflows, supporting rotating inventories and monthly closing. * Support internal and external audits when requested. * Work in cold environments, such as cold rooms and the frozen fruit and açaí section, as operationally required. * Support general activities in other production departments, functioning in a multifunctional capacity. * Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining pace, attention, and quality. * Restock raw materials, supplies, and utensils required for continuous production. * Strictly comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety regulations, and hygiene standards. * Dispose of waste correctly according to internal procedures. AUTHORITY: * Has no autonomy to make decisions without prior validation. * Has no authority over purchasing, approvals, or direct contact with suppliers. * Works exclusively under the direction of the Production Supervisor. EXPERIENCE: * Prior experience in the food industry, production, packaging, or simple machine operation is preferred. * Minimum experience is not mandatory.
