




**Description** The Tax Assistant is responsible for supporting operational routines in the tax area, ensuring accurate registration, verification, and organization of the company’s tax-related information. The role directly handles the issuance, recording, and verification of tax documents, contributing to legal compliance and providing efficient support to internal departments and audits. **Responsibilities** • Issue and verify incoming and outgoing tax invoices (for goods and services); • Record tax documents in the ERP system and verify correct tax treatment applied (CFOP, CST, tax rates, etc.); • Assist in tax calculations (ISS, ICMS, ICMS ST, IPI, PIS, COFINS) under guidance from the Tax Analyst/Coordinator; • Control, organize, and archive physical and digital tax documents; • Monitor invoice returns, cancellations, and correction letters; • Support the tax registration of products and suppliers; • Assist in generating tax reports and responding to external and internal audits; • Perform basic tax verifications and simple ERP system configurations; • Support internal departments (Procurement, Finance, Sales) on questions related to tax documents. **Requirements** * Currently pursuing or having completed a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields; * Basic knowledge of tax and fiscal legislation; * Prior experience in issuing or verifying tax invoices; * Familiarity with indirect taxes (ISS, ICMS, ICMS ST, IPI, PIS, COFINS); * Basic to intermediate Excel skills; * Organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to deadlines. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with interstate operations, tax substitution, or tax incentives; * Experience with ERP systems; * Knowledge of import tax invoices; * Willingness and ability to progress into more complex roles within the tax area.
