**Responsibilities and Duties**
Monitor and interpret real-time graphs and readings from all automated geotechnical instruments at dams via the Sentnel platform; Monitor testing of the automated siren and alert system; Monitor Robotic Total Station (RTS) operations, piezometric instrumentation, and reservoir water levels; Prepare daily shift reports on monitoring activities and system failures; Monitor pumping operations in reservoirs, sumps, and channels; Conduct daily sensor, equipment, and system tests; Perform administrative tasks related to the geotechnical monitoring room; Collect rainfall data; Monitor maintenance work on geotechnical structures (e.g., access improvements, desilting of sumps and reservoirs); Comply with all STATUM rules and policies, especially those related to safety, environment, and anti-corruption practices; Complete monitoring status, rainfall, and geotechnical structure control spreadsheets to meet company standards and procedures; Support senior professionals in processes within their area of expertise, leveraging experience for self-development; Identify unsafe conditions or safety rule violations by colleagues or third parties and report them for correction; Follow the emergency communication plan defined for each structure; Follow instructions from the immediate supervisor; Attend meetings when summoned; Participate in technical visits when necessary; Comply with STATUM’s Quality Policy; Read articles relevant to the field of work; Attend technical fairs with in-person attendance at technical presentations; Participate in training sessions and campaigns related to Safety and Environment; Log working hours and appropriate entries according to pre\-defined company management standards; Growth potential within a solid engineering consulting firm, with opportunities to participate in challenging projects.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
Education: Currently enrolled from the 7th semester onward in Civil Engineering, Urban Engineering, or Mining Engineering; Geotechnical experience preferred; Full Microsoft Office suite proficiency; Basic AutoCAD knowledge; Brazilian National Driver’s License, Category B; **Availability to work rotating shifts:** **12×36 Shift Schedule (Night Shift)** Work Location: Belo Horizonte, Estoril neighborhood; We encourage participation from women and persons with disabilities (PCD’s).
