Ensures safety and efficiency of electrical equipment and installations **Description** The Electrical Technician is responsible for assembling, maintaining, and testing electrical systems, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency of equipment and installations. Works on preventive and corrective inspections, project development, electrical testing, and equipment parameterization, in compliance with company standards and occupational safety regulations. **Main Responsibilities** * Maintain and preserve tools and equipment, requesting maintenance or calibration whenever necessary. * Adhere to production planning as per cell reports and instructions from supervisors. * Accurately enter maintenance information into the FAS system and submit Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) when required. * Immediately report any incidents or failures during task execution to the responsible supervisor. * Undertake business trips as needed. **General Activities** * Assembling and connecting electrical systems, including distribution panels, cables, and equipment. * Performing inspections, repairs, and replacements of electrical components, both preventively and correctively. * Developing electrical installation projects, considering technical standards, safety, and energy efficiency. * Applying electrical installation safety standards and using PPE correctly. * Conducting tests and measurements to ensure system and equipment quality. * Preparing technical reports, layout drawings, and other documents related to installation and maintenance. **Segment-Specific Activities** * Dismantling and assembling motors, generators, transformers, and substation yard equipment, including switchgear cubicles. * Performing electrical tests on motors, generators, and transformers. * Operating thermovacuum and vacuum pumps. * Operating ultra-dry air central systems. * Performing preventive maintenance on substation yard equipment and switchgear cubicles. * Maintaining air conditioning systems and air drying central systems. * Parameterizing frequency inverters, soft starters, and electronic controllers. **Requirements** * Completed technical education in Electrotechnology, Electronics, or related fields. * 6 months to 2 years of experience in the role. * Attention to detail, responsibility, and commitment to work quality.
