Support finance-critical enterprise applications and SQL databases **Job Summary** This position requires a highly skilled professional with strong technical and functional expertise, along with fluency in Portuguese .The ideal candidate should be either strong in Java, specifically Core Java, Spring Core, Hibernate, Spring MVC, and REST Web Services, or strong in .NET, including .Net Core, SQL, React Js, Node JS, ASP.NET Core, and Web API. Additionally, they should possess working knowledge of SQL and PLSQL and excellent communication skills. Life Sciences experience and ITIL V4 knowledge are added advantages. Responsibilities: * Provide Level 2/3 support for the applications assigned; Incident resolution, Service request fulfilment, maintaining and troubleshooting existing applications/systems; working on problem tickets and changes, preparing knowledge articles and supporting Application Managers etc * Understand requirements from clients and implement changes by following Client SOPs * Mentoring team members on both technical and non\-technical aspects; Assisting subordinates in resolving technical issues, knowledge\-sharing * The candidate should be ready to work in shifts and provide weekend, holiday support as per the need * The candidate should monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Dev, QA and Prod Server environments, perform routine health checks, backups, and disaster recovery testing, and ensure high availability and performance tuning of SQL databases. * Diagnose and resolve database errors, connectivity issues, and query performance problems, and collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to resolve cross\-functional issues; stay updated with SQL Server updates, patches, and best practices, and participate in automation initiatives to reduce manual effort * The candidate should deliver support in Portuguese and Spanish, ensuring clear communication with regional stakeholders, document solutions, create knowledge base articles, and provide training in both languages. * The candidate should act as a liaison between technical teams and business users * Furthermore, the candidate should have strong experience in supporting finance\-critical enterprise applications such as GL, AP/AR, Treasury, Risk, and Regulatory Reporting systems. * Prior experience working with Finance, Treasury, Tax, or Regulatory Reporting teams is strongly preferred. * The candidate should have capabilities to support and maintain .Net/Java\-based finance applications and SQL databases, optimize financial transaction processing, reconciliation, and reporting modules, integrate with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle Financials, CERP) and banking interfaces, * handle end\-of\-day/month\-end/year\-end finance processing, and ensure data accuracy, auditability, and compliance.
