Job Summary:
The Occupational Safety Technician participates in the development and implementation of safety projects and standards, aiming to prevent occupational accidents and diseases.

The **Occupational Safety Technician** will participate in the development and implementation of safety projects and standards, studying facilities, materials, and manufacturing processes to determine requirements for preventing accidents and occupational diseases.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Draft area-specific documents indicating control measures;
* Participate in the planning, development, and implementation of techniques related to risk management and control;
* Inspect work areas, verifying the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and advising employees on workplace safety standards;
* Conduct inspections of facilities, machinery, and equipment, identifying risk points and developing safety and ergonomic devices;
* Organize educational campaigns jointly with the CIPA;
* Organize and maintain up-to-date records and files for the department.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Completed Technical Course in Occupational Safety;
* Registration as an Occupational Safety Technician with the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE);
* Availability to work rotating shifts;
* Prior experience in the field and knowledge of the food industry will be considered advantageous.
