Guided by our GELITA Values and scientific research, we drive innovation and consistently focus on excellence, experience, and customer orientation. **Responsibilities and duties** **Description of activities to be performed:** * Ensure compliance with the site's safety policy together with the entire production team; * Plan and carry out necessary scheduling to meet the monthly production plan; * Report daily yield data and other KPIs; * Work together with the production manager on improvement plans (PDCAs) related to safety, compliance, quality, production, and costs; * Monitor the entire production process daily and report to the production manager; * Develop a training program for department employees, identifying needs and planning execution together with the HR department; * Ensure operational team management, including vacation planning, application of disciplinary sanctions, climate management, among others; * Define direct employee responsibilities to achieve objectives; * Set priorities for the Maintenance team to execute services; * Conduct performance evaluations regularly according to organizational policy; * Evaluate environmental aspects of their processes and establish operational controls; * Participate in various site audits and promote the creation of action plans; * Develop and promote operational team involvement in RCAs; * Be responsible for monitoring and taking actions to ensure rational consumption of water, electricity, and steam; * Be responsible for maintaining and improving the Integrated Management System related to their department. **Requirements and qualifications** **Profile** * Bachelor's degree completed – Engineering or Technology fields such as production, chemical, food technology, or related areas. * Solid experience managing a production team; * Availability to work in shifts; * Experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments is desirable; **Other Requirements and Experiences:** * Experience in certification audits (SIF, FSC, ISO, and customer audits) is desirable. **Additional information** * Medical Insurance (Employee + Spouse and Children); * Dental Insurance (Employee + Spouse and Children); * Pharmacy Discount Program; * Meal Voucher; * Transportation Voucher or Parking; * Life Insurance; * On-site Meals; * Christmas Bonus; * School Supplies Allowance for employees' children from 1st to 9th grade (paid in January); * Profit Sharing of up to 2 salaries (based on goal achievements). * GYMPASS GELITA is a leading company in the manufacturing of gelatin and collagen peptides with more than 2,900 employees working across 22 facilities on six continents.
