




Description: For this position, the following are essential: * Completed High School education; * Valid Class D driver's license, plus completion of an Emergency Vehicle Transportation course; * Experience in activities related to this field. What does a typical day look like? * Operate emergency vehicles (ambulances) responsibly, ensuring patient and medical team safety while complying with Traffic Legislation, subject to penalties prescribed by law; * Drive ambulances and/or perform transportation and/or patient transfer, including passengers, materials, and organs, according to predetermined routes, being responsible for people’s safety and well-being; * Drive the vehicle to the designated location using the fastest available routes within the pre-established time frame, while respecting traffic laws; * Signal the service site using equipment available in the vehicle (cones, flag, flashlight), in accordance with procedures established by the company or any on-site instructions received from the responsible party; * Monitor patient transfer requests via Service Desk – Ambulances, and organize prior scheduling accordingly. Arrange necessary services with third-party transport companies holding active contracts with BP Hospital and respond to requests; * Record all performed and outsourced transfers in a network-based control spreadsheet; * Assist Nursing Technicians and Nurses with procedures when required, including aiding patient and companion boarding and disembarking; * Maintain external cleanliness of the vehicle and the driver’s cabin, and complete daily entries in the incident logbook and other records implemented by the company; * Perform vehicle checklists—including tools and auxiliary rescue materials under your responsibility—according to company-defined specifications, verifying their perfect operational condition; manage and dispatch medical oxygen cylinders for refilling, and reinstall them in the vehicle upon return; * Manage and carry out vehicle refueling, verify engine lubricating oil level, brake fluid, radiator coolant, tire conditions, fire extinguisher validity, and other items listed in the checklist; * Safeguard equipment, resources, and materials under your responsibility, as well as the work environment; comply with standards, procedures, internal regulations, corporate policies, and occupational health and safety norms applicable to the sector; * Uphold the Institution’s Mission and Strategic Vision, internal regulations, compliance requirements, and quality management systems; comply with ANS and ANVISA regulations, as well as health, hygiene, and occupational safety norms inherent to the sector; use PPEs/collective protective equipment (PPE/CPE) whenever required by the activity; * Carry out additional duties inherent to the role or assigned at the discretion of your immediate supervisor, provided you are qualified and such duties align with your knowledge and experience; * Understand environmental aspects and impacts associated with your activities, as well as applicable legal requirements, supporting initiatives aimed at minimizing environmental impact and improving environmental performance toward process compliance; * Know and apply Environmental Operational Control Procedures relevant to your area—specifically those concerning liquid effluent waste management, atmospheric emissions, and natural resources—to ensure compliance and promote understanding and implementation of these routines across all related departments, contributing to achievement of established environmental objectives; * Know and support emergency situations through participation in—and/or execution of—simulations related to environmental emergency response plans, as well as during actual incidents, where applicable. 2512210202551931663
