Our engineers work with modern technologies, agility, and software development best practices to create innovative solutions, ensure data integrity, and protect against fraud. Furthermore, they collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance user experience and drive innovation in payment methods. **Responsibilities and Duties** *As a* ***Senior Software Engineering Analyst***, *you will:* * Work on maintenance projects; * Perform Java (Backend) development; * Create new microservices and analyze and improve the performance of existing microservices; * Monitor metrics and observability of microservices in production environments; * Develop high-complexity applications with quality, adhering to Elo’s standard architecture; * Work in multidisciplinary teams (project Squads), applying agile methodologies and interacting with partners, assuming various roles across different projects; * Ensure system and project documentation aligns with the company’s adopted methodology; * Develop efficient, high-performance, flexible technical solutions aligned with business needs; * Support project implementation and post-implementation activities; * Strive for high software quality standards; * Conduct unit, component, mutation, functional, performance, and automated tests; * Address incidents in production environments; * Participate in technical refinement of deliverables, ensuring appropriate breakdowns for the development lifecycle. **Requirements and Qualifications** *For this challenge, we need you to:* * Have experience in development, especially in Java (21 or later) and Spring (Boot, Batch, Data, Config, etc.); * Master concepts and practices for developing applications using Microservice Architectures, Clean Architecture, Design Patterns, Clean Code, SOLID principles, and API Gateways; * Have experience in Object-Oriented Programming and RESTful API design (HTTP); * Know DevOps practices and CI/CD automation tools; * Have experience developing applications using messaging brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar); * Have experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban); * Be experienced in solving and integrating complex systems; * Possess knowledge and experience using AI agents (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).
