Our engineers work with modern technologies, agility, and software development best practices to build innovative solutions, ensure data integrity, and protect against fraud. In addition, they collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance user experience and drive innovation in payment methods. **Responsibilities and Duties** *As a* ***Senior Software Engineering Analyst***, *you will:* * Work on projects and maintenance within the team; * Perform Java backend development; * Build new microservices and analyze and improve the performance of existing microservices; * Monitor metrics and observability of microservices in production environments; * Develop high-complexity applications with quality, adhering to Elo’s standard architecture; * Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams (project squads), applying agile methodologies and interacting with partners, assuming different roles across projects; * Ensure documentation of systems and projects according to the company’s adopted methodology; * Develop efficient, performant, flexible technical solutions aligned with business needs; * Support project implementation and post-implementation activities; * Strive for high software quality standards; * Execute unit, component, mutation, functional, performance, and automated tests; * Respond to production environment incidents; * Participate in technical refinement of deliverables to ensure appropriate breakdowns for the development lifecycle. **Requirements and Qualifications** *For this challenge, we require you to:* * Experience in development, especially Java (21 and later) and Spring (Boot, Data, Config, etc.); * Knowledge of Spring Batch; * Proficiency and conceptual understanding of microservice architectures, Clean Architecture, Design Patterns, Clean Code, SOLID principles, and API Gateways; * Experience in Object-Oriented Programming and RESTful API design (HTTP); * Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD automation tools; * Experience developing applications using messaging brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar); * Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban); * Experience solving and integrating complex systems; * English proficiency for technical reading; * Experience with AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).
