Therefore, here you will find people from different places and backgrounds, yet united by their belief in the importance of solidarity and the power of support and inclusion. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Prepare and perform tests relevant to the laboratory in which you work, following established schedules and procedures. * Organize and analyze raw test data in accordance with existing standards. * Identify needs and request materials for use in the area. * Train less experienced professionals in the area. * Support, develop, and review new methodologies and operational procedures. * Perform temperature control verification and check operating conditions of laboratory equipment. * Request sample delivery and return. * Dispose of waste. * Carry out decontamination procedures and clean the laboratory environment, equipment, and glassware. * Comply with quality assurance procedures and Good Laboratory Practices. * Use responsibly and maintain facilities, furniture, equipment, tools, and materials to which you have access, as well as ensure organization and cleanliness of your workplace. * Uphold ALS values and follow current internal practices and policies. * Perform other related duties as required by the area and at the discretion of your immediate supervisor. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Technical diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. * Active professional council registration (CRQ). * Knowledge of chemistry concepts and calculations. * Organization, punctuality, teamwork, and adaptability. **Additional Information** **SCHEDULE:** Monday to Friday, 12:12 PM to 10:00 PM **WORK LOCATION:** UNIT - Santana **BENEFITS:** Meal / Food Allowance; Transportation Allowance; Medical Assistance / Life Insurance; Dental Assistance; Gym and Well-being Allowance; Pharmacy Partnership; Partnerships and agreements with universities and language schools; Birthday Day Off ALS is a global leader in the provision of laboratory and technical analytical services.
