This role is cross-functional, collaborating closely with internal departments and third-party accounting providers. Key responsibilities include monthly preparation of financial statements (Income Statement and Balance Sheet), monitoring of the corporate budget, and analyses such as break-even and runway—contributing to risk reduction and delivering clear visibility into the company’s financial health. **About the Role:** The Junior Controllership Analyst at Incognia will play a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s accounting and reporting processes. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about accounting, FP&A, and data analysis. The professional will participate in the financial close process, reconciliations, actual vs. budget analyses, as well as building and maintaining performance dashboards, reports, automations, and system implementations. **Day-to-Day Responsibilities:** * Perform accounting entries (manual and automated) * Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts * Monitor and ensure accuracy of tax payable and recoverable amounts * Support financial closing, actual vs. budget, and forecasting processes * Manipulate and organize data sets for reporting purposes * Support the development, maintenance, and validation of automated dashboards * Support automation of recurring reports using BI tools, spreadsheets, or integrations * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields (currently enrolled or nearing graduation).
