Job Summary: As a Fullstack Software Engineer at Mercado Livre, you will design and scale innovative and secure systems, applying engineering best practices and AI to democratize e-commerce and financial services across Latin America. Imagine\-yourself leading challenging, dynamic, and innovative projects and **being responsible for:** * Developing high-quality code, performing complex refactors, and conducting *code reviews*, working on both Backend (Go) and Frontend (React). * Designing and maintaining robust, scalable APIs in Golang, and developing responsive, performant user interfaces in React—ensuring resilient and modular solutions. * Contributing to the design of distributed architectures, applying advanced design patterns. * Defining testing and observability strategies, implementing automated tests, metrics, and logs to ensure reliability and performance from *front* to *back*. * Contributing across all phases of the software development lifecycle—from conception through deployment and production monitoring. **What we’re looking for:** * Proven experience in similar roles. * Strong proficiency in Backend development using Golang and Frontend development using React. * Knowledge of design patterns, distributed architectures, and microservices. * Experience with relational and non\-relational databases. * Experience across the software development lifecycle and writing high-quality tests. * Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude/Claude Code is a plus. **Are you excited to leave your mark on Latin America’s technology landscape?** Apply now and join our mission!
