The professional will perform installation, configuration, predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities, as well as manage the evolution of components, systems, and architectural standards within the Mine Automation environment (MineStar Dispatch System, Fleet, Terrain, DSS, digital radio communication system, Rajant/Radwin communication system, autonomous drill rigs, fuel systems, among others), which support the Mine Operations business. Develop and implement projects, manage financial resources. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform maintenance, projects, and improvements on Mine Automation systems (MineStar Dispatch System, Fleet, Terrain, DSS, digital radio communication system, Rajant/Radwin communication system, fuel systems, among others); * Identify technical alternatives to improve Mine Automation technology processes, including supplier identification and development, participation in trade fairs, and benchmarking visits, aiming to enhance processes with safety, quality, and cost control; * Plan, oversee implementation, and evaluate results of automation projects under their responsibility; propose, monitor, and assess corrective actions when necessary, in accordance with internal procedures, current safety regulations, and defined schedules, to achieve established goals; * Operate across all layers of Mine Automation technology—i.e., hardware, software, field networks, control, supervision, and optimization—in compliance with internal procedures and current safety regulations, aiming to implement technology for cost reduction, safety enhancement, and productivity improvement; * Interface with various departments involved in the automation process to ensure adherence to premises defined in the Automation Master Plan; * Collaborate with operations teams during commissioning and startup of projects to meet defined ramp-up curve timelines and company-established goals; * Implement safety and infrastructure improvements in the Mine Automation environment to minimize risks to the company’s business; * Prepare budgetary and technical feasibility analyses for projects in accordance with internal procedures, aiming to meet demands for process, quality, and cost improvements; * Monitor the evolution of KPIs and performance indicators for operational communication networks, covering diverse technologies and systems, identifying intervention needs, acting directly or directing required actions, and proposing necessary structural or system modifications to meet business goals; * Plan and execute activities assigned to the role, demonstrating proficiency in operations, processes, or equipment within the area of expertise; * Execute implementation of departmental work plans and procedures, carrying out and monitoring necessary technical actions to achieve established objectives and goals. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory Requirements** * Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, or related fields; * Registration with the Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy (CREA); * Solid experience in Mine Automation Systems, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in technologies such as MineStar, Fleet, Terrain, DSS, digital radios, autonomous drill rigs, Rajant/Radwin communication, and fuel supply systems; * Experience in frequency licensing with ANATEL and compliance with regulatory norms; * Driver’s license category B. **Desirable Requirements:** * Postgraduate degree and/or specialization in Automation, Project Management, or related areas; * Knowledge of CCTV camera systems; Fuel Management Systems; * Knowledge of digital transformation projects (Internet of Things, digitization, OT/IT cybersecurity); * Specializations related to Mine Automation; * Advanced English proficiency. **Additional Information** * Health and Dental Plans (co-payment) * PR – Profit Sharing * Private Pension Plan * Life Insurance * Meal Voucher * Transportation Benefit * School Kit and Christmas Kit * Employee Assistance Program.
