**Job Description:** Responsible for performing mechanical machining operations on conventional lathes, including manufacturing, restoration, and adjustment of mechanical parts used in industrial machines and equipment, ensuring precision, quality, and meeting maintenance requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** * Operate conventional mechanical lathes; * Perform part machining according to technical drawings or samples; * Restore shafts, bushings, threads, pins, and other mechanical components; * Perform adjustments and finishing on metallic parts; * Prepare, calibrate, and adjust cutting tools; * Interpret mechanical technical drawings; * Use measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators); * Support the fabrication of mechanical fixtures and adaptations; * Maintain organization and proper condition of machines and tools; * Follow safety regulations and good machining practices. **Requirements:** * Completed high school education; * Technical training in Mechanical Machining / Turning / Industrial Mechanics; * Proven experience as a Mechanical Lathe Operator; * Solid knowledge of mechanical machining; * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; * Knowledge of mechanical tolerances and fits; * Proficiency with measuring instruments. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience in food, agribusiness, or heavy maintenance industries; * Basic knowledge of conventional milling; * Familiarity with materials (steel, bronze, aluminum, engineering nylon); * Experience restoring parts for corrective maintenance. **Behavioral Profile:** * Attention to detail * Precision * Responsibility * Organization * Agility **Benefits:** * Meals provided at the workplace; * Meal allowance card; * Partnerships with educational institutions (universities/technical schools); * Transportation allowance or fuel allowance; * Medical and dental assistance (monthly fee and co-payment).
