




Description: * Completed high school education; * Complete Nursing Technician Course; * Active COREN MG registration; * Intermediate-level computer and Microsoft Office skills. * Perform nursing procedures and care for critically ill patients in the institution, whether undergoing clinical or surgical treatment; * Implement preventive measures for identified risks based on institutional protocols; * Record all relevant patient information under one’s responsibility to ensure safety and continuity of treatment; * Participate in the surgical process, including verifying the surgery schedule, checking the operating room, inspecting surgical kits, receiving and transferring patients to the operating table, performing preoperative precautions, setting up the operating table, assisting during surgery, transferring patients to the post-anesthesia recovery room, and preparing the operating room for the next surgery; * Organize the anesthesia process in operating rooms, including arranging materials, anesthetic drugs, and necessary equipment; transferring patients from stretchers to operating tables; assisting during anesthesia administration; and participating in anesthesia procedures for cardiac surgery patients, which require specialized attention, time, equipment, instruments, and medications; * Provide individualized care to critically ill patients admitted to ICUs or clinical wards; * Collect and/or send requested laboratory tests; * Verify medical and nursing prescriptions, signing and stamping them accordingly; * Assist physicians with medical procedures such as chest drainage, bronchoscopy, endoscopy, colonoscopy, intracath insertion, etc., by gathering required materials to stabilize hemodynamic parameters; * Instruct visitors during visiting hours on hand hygiene and its importance in preventing infection among patients under one’s care; * Monitor material and medication expenditures and validity dates to prevent waste; * Assist nurses and/or physicians with invasive procedures and supply necessary materials; * Work in critical areas, providing care to severely ill patients requiring invasive devices; * Check and replenish bedside ICU supplies—including gauze, catheters, suction equipment, sterile gloves, Ambu bags, etc.; * Verify emergency procedure trays, date them, and restock missing items; * Inspect the emergency cart daily and test the defibrillator; * Perform other duties as required or at the discretion of the unit nurse; * Admit patients to the unit together with the nurse—receiving admission forms and medical records, escorting patients to their beds, identifying them, and labeling their medication bins; * Participate in shift handover bed-to-bed, communicating essential information to colleagues alongside the entire nursing team; * Participate in planning nursing care; * Actively engage in the risk management program to prevent errors and harm to patients under one’s care; promptly report any incidents to the responsible nurse, implement interventions to minimize risk, and document actions in the prescription; * Carry out all nursing actions except those exclusively reserved for registered nurses, per the General Procedures Manual of the Nursing Division; * Participate in discharge planning, jointly with the nurse, providing patients and their companions with instructions regarding care and devices, if needed. * Verify optimal conditions for patient transfer during preoperative preparation for surgeries; respond promptly to verbal requests or call bell alerts from inpatients; * Administer medications safely to prevent patient harm; know High-Alert Medications; * Maintain unit cleanliness and report nonconformities to the hygiene service; * Maintain and preserve unit equipment and supplies; notify the equipment center about repair, maintenance, or replacement needs, and arrange for removal in case of obsolescence; * Keep patient medical records and documents properly organized; * Notify the nurse regarding equipment repairs, maintenance requirements, or shortages in the unit; * Participate in determining the daily individual supply orders for patients. 251204020218856497
