With approximately 3,000 direct employees, its Brazilian operations rank among the world’s most advanced in mining technology—thanks to excellence in equipment and processes, and engineering solutions focused on safety and responsible underground mining. **At AngloGold Ashanti, our purpose is to drive the development of people and society.** If you identify with the values of **Safety, Respect, Integrity, Excellence, Sustainability**, and **Collaboration**, join us in building the future. **Transform your career, transform mining!** Review the details of this opportunity**:** **Purpose** Operate loading station equipment to remove ore from the main silo at the Cuiabá Mine for feeding production hoist vehicles (skips); act as a signalman (hoist operator) for the personnel elevator; operate underground crushing equipment to reduce rock size and feed the loading station. **RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES** ### **LOADING STATION** * Operate the loading station (main and secondary silos), loading ore and waste into skips using control panels, levers, buttons, and PLC systems. * Control dosing and conveyor belt feeding, monitoring gates, feeders, and loading system operation. * Monitor operational processes, performing de-clogging, removing non-crushable materials, and breaking rocks to prevent blockages and equipment damage. * Operate auxiliary equipment such as filter presses/settlers, ramp hoists, and hammers (fixed rock breakers), ensuring process continuity. * Act as signalman (hoist operator) for the personnel elevator, maintaining constant communication with hoist operators. * Perform basic maintenance and preservation tasks: roller replacement, minor mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs, hose replacement, chute and belt repairs, oxy-acetylene torch work, and industrial painting. ### **UNDERGROUND CRUSHING** * Operate the underground crushing system via control panels and PLCs to ensure appropriate reduction of material from mining faces. * Monitor material levels in silos and crusher feed to ensure continuous process flow. * Visually monitor all crushing stages, performing preventive interventions to avoid blockages and damage. * Operate overhead cranes for de-clogging when required. * Perform basic maintenance and preservation of equipment (belts, feeders, vibrating grizzlies, crushers, hydraulic/pneumatic circuits), including component replacement, oxy-acetylene torch work, and hammer operation. **MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS** * Completed high school education; * Availability to work rotating shifts. **DESIRED KNOWLEDGE** * Driver’s license, Category B. **Work Location:** Cuiabá Mine \- Sabará/MG **Benefits** Here, those who shape our present and future enjoy benefits that support **health, well-being, and quality of life**: * Medical and Dental Assistance * Life Insurance * Funeral Assistance * Meal Voucher * Christmas Basket * Chartered Transportation (operational units) * Transportation Voucher * Private Pension Plan * PPR – Profit Sharing Program * Daycare Assistance * School Supplies * Mais Viver Program * Vaccination * Mental Health Support * Wellhub * Autism and Down Syndrome Assistance **Application and Selection Process** * AGA Employees: Apply via intranet (if accessible) or company website, indicating current employment with us. * **Direct employees or service providers: You must inform your immediate supervisor about your application.** * Our process includes: Application, Resume Screening, Group Activities/Interviews, Technical and Behavioral Assessments, and Medical Examinations. * Communications occur via email, phone, and WhatsApp. Please stay alert! **Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion** We are transforming mining through a culture of equity, inclusion, and respect.
