Safeguard the confidentiality and security of company information Check\-Up Medicina e Diagnóstico, the third-largest laboratory in the state of Minas Gerais by number of tests processed — operating in Clinical Analysis and Imaging Diagnosis — is seeking a **Laboratory Assistant**. **Main Responsibilities:** * · Register patients and collect samples at external units/PS and ambulatory departments according to medical orders/authorizations and current acceptance rules for medical orders; · Verify medical orders and generate production reports to ensure consistency between registration and medical orders; · Collect payment from private patients and reconcile daily cash receipts with the finance department, where applicable; · Identify (per RDC 786\), collect, and receive biological samples in accordance with medical orders and collection guidelines; · Serve all internal and external customers with courtesy, respect, and efficiency; · Perform sample collection for all patient groups, including venous and arterial access; · Weigh glucose/lactose samples for forwarding to other units (Exclusive activity of the Main Unit); · Provide clear and accurate instructions to patients regarding preparation for examinations; · Verify correct patient preparation; in case of non-compliance, complete and request patient signature on the consent form; · Confirm that questionnaires and specific examination consent forms have been correctly completed by the patient; · Provide the LGPD consent form at UBS / UBS’F or at units without an integrated system; · Seal specimen bags and dispatch biological samples to the technical department, properly stored as described in POA.SGQ.20, which governs transport and preservation of specimens; · Check expiration dates of alcohol, sodium hypochlorite, and collection supplies; · Restock materials and maintain cleanliness and order at the collection station and/or collection room within the assigned unit; · Dispose of generated waste correctly, in compliance with RDC 222 and PGRSS; · Accurately record: refrigerator temperature, thermal box temperature, ambient temperature, collection logs, traceability control, thermal box cleaning, and collection kit cleaning, among others, in designated log sheets; · Assist physicians in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and bone marrow aspiration collections; · Safeguard company assets provided for job performance, promptly notify immediate supervisor if replacement or repair is needed, and maintain a clean work environment; · Safeguard confidentiality and security of information, complying with information security and data protection policies and regulations; · Contact Medilar in cases of adverse reactions to sample collection (excluding SUS); · Log, receive, and forward customer Non-Conformance Reports (RNCs) to managers and SGQ; **Special Condition:** Laboratory assistants working night shifts may use company vehicles, when necessary, for external collections or specimen transportation — provided they hold valid driver’s license; **Requirements:** * Currently enrolled in Technical Course in Clinical Analysis or Biomedicine. * Valid driver’s license category AB. **Desirable**: Basic computer skills. **Working Hours: Monday to Saturday: 05:45 \- 12:00\.** **Base Salary: R$1\.326,27\+ benefits.** **Benefits:** * Monthly individual performance bonus (attendance): R$212,75 * Meal allowance: R$205,54 * Unimed health plan with co-payment (company subsidy for employee based on age bracket; employee may include family members at their own expense) * Uniodonto dental plan (50% company subsidy) * Life insurance (100% company subsidy) * Gympass; * Additional vacation day per 5 years of service; * Emotional support: Dedicated psychologist for the Employee Well-being Program; * Birthday gift card: R$50; * Discounts on exams and consultations performed at Check\-Up.
