Perform visual inspections on printed circuit boards **Job Opening: SMD Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking an **SMD Machine Operator** to work on our production line in the electronics industry. This professional will be responsible for preparing, operating, adjusting, and monitoring SMT/SMD process equipment to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency in electronic assembly. **Main Responsibilities** * Prepare, adjust, and configure SMD line machines—including solder paste printers, pick\-and\-place machines, and reflow ovens—according to production order specifications; * Load machines with electronic components (feeders/reels) and solder paste; * Replace, clean, and verify stencils and squeegee blades on the solder paste printer; * Monitor equipment operation to ensure product quality and production process stability; * Monitor reflow oven temperature profiles and solder paste application parameters; * Record production quantities, downtime durations, and incidents in production systems or forms; * Perform visual inspections on printed circuit boards—with or without microscope assistance—to identify defects such as missing, misaligned, or tombstoned components; * Carry out equipment cleaning and minor autonomous maintenance interventions to prevent unplanned stoppages; * Maintain a clean, organized workstation compliant with safety and quality standards. **Requirements** * Prior experience as an **SMD Machine Operator** or in electronic assembly processes; * Experience in the electronics industry; * Knowledge of SMT/SMD machine operation—including printers, pick\-and\-place machines, and reflow ovens; * Basic understanding of visual inspection and quality control for printed circuit boards; * Ability to perform basic equipment adjustments and operational maintenance; * Attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to quality; * Availability to work from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with SMD line setup; * Familiarity with reading production orders and technical documentation; * Knowledge of production metrics, losses, and downtime indicators.
