Focus on cost reduction and inventory optimization **PROCUREMENT ANALYST / BUYER** Oversee the company's procurement, logistics, and warehouse/inventory team and processes; negotiate deadlines, quantities, and terms with suppliers and/or customers; prepare budgets; and control payment scheduling. · Respond to internal and external purchase requests. · Identify material procurement needs. · Obtain timely price quotations to ensure prompt purchasing and delivery. · Issue purchase authorizations. · Negotiate deadlines, quantities, and terms with suppliers and/or customers. · Source alternative products from suppliers for requesting departments. · Calculate correct purchase quantities to prevent losses. · Maintain minimum stock levels for high-turnover items to ensure quality and reduce losses. · Ensure proper disposal of solid and liquid waste generated by restaurant and snack bar operations. · Conduct overall stock count and monthly inventory. · Interface with suppliers. · Process product exchanges and returns for non-conforming orders. · Implement initiatives aimed at reducing inventory-related costs. · Solicit quotations from new suppliers. · Monitor material receipt flow. · Monitor product dispatch flow. · Provide supporting documentation for supply contract preparation. · Identify requirements for new equipment. · Prepare reports, forms, and Excel/system spreadsheets. · Contract suppliers for maintenance services on machinery and equipment.
