




Job Summary: Process Technician I to supervise and optimize crushing, screening, and magnetic separation operations, as well as manage the laboratory and ensure compliance with safety standards. Occupational accident prevention and environmental control. **Mining company is hiring for:** Process Technician I Responsibilities: - Supervise crushers and screens to ensure correct particle size distribution and efficiency of size reduction; - Monitor magnetic separators, adjusting magnetic field intensity, rotational speed, and feed flow rate to optimize iron content and recovery; - Analyze operational variables (flow rate, pulp density, particle size distribution) via control panels (SDCD/PLC) or on-site; - Collect ore samples or ensure sample collection is performed, enabling preliminary granulometric and chemical analyses for quality control; - Identify root causes of low yield, process deviations, crusher blockages, or poor magnetic separation, proposing corrective actions; - Manage the company’s physical and chemical laboratory; - Strictly comply with and enforce safety regulations (NRs), focusing on accident prevention and environmental control. Mandatory Requirements: - Technical degree in Mining, Metallurgy, or Chemistry; - Experience in controlling crusher, screening, magnetic separation, classification circuit, and laboratory equipment operations; - Familiarity with automated control systems and Microsoft Office Suite; - Ability to analyze operational data, monitor industrial KPIs, and prepare technical reports; - Capacity to interpret production reports, process flow diagrams, and instrumentation diagrams; - Brazilian National Driver’s License (CNH) – Category B. Desirable Requirement: - Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related fields.
