Job Summary: The Electrical Technician I will be responsible for performing corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment, as well as proposing improvements and preparing technical reports. As an **Electrical Technician I**, your **main responsibilities** will include: * Performing corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment * Conducting electrical switching operations at low and high voltage * Maintaining/installing electrical outlets and lighting circuits * Analyzing and repairing low-voltage control circuits * Performing diagnostic tests on electric motors and transformers * Assisting in root cause identification and supporting the development of technical solutions to prevent recurrence * Identifying and proposing improvements to maintenance systems * Preparing technical reports * Performing repairs and overhauls of electrical equipment both onsite and at workbenches * Supporting planning and scheduling of maintenance activities with relevant information * Recording maintenance data and incidents in information systems * Communicating requirements for "as-built" documentation * Implementing improvements * Installing and replacing electrical equipment and systems * Verifying functionality of electrical equipment * Parameterizing and configuring electrical equipment (e.g., protection relays, inverters, PLCs, etc.) * Contributing to the optimization of maintenance plans * Verifying technical specifications and installation conditions of equipment per project requirements We expect you to possess the following **technical competencies**: * Knowledge of electrical circuit analysis * Ability to interpret manuals and technical drawings * Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and tools under your responsibility (handling, operation, and application) * Knowledge of electrical machines * Knowledge of measurements using electrical instruments * Documentation (power diagrams, control diagrams, interconnection diagrams) * Electrical symbols and TAG coding * Knowledge of manufacturing processes * Electrical drives * Switching and protective devices * Electrical power distribution systems * Standards and installation requirements for electrical equipment * Microsoft Office (editors and spreadsheets) and SAP * Knowledge of P&I diagrams * Knowledge of PLC programming software (desirable) * Knowledge of refrigeration (desirable) We expect you to have the following **qualifications**: * Technical course in Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnics, or Electroelectronics.
