You will design and scale innovative and secure systems that solve real-world, high-impact problems. You will work in a dynamic environment with cutting-edge technology, applying engineering best practices, AI models, and continuous learning—all aimed at democratizing e-commerce and financial services across Latin America. **Imagine yourself leading projects and being responsible for:** * Being part of the Shipment Route team, responsible for all package routes across Latin America; * Collaborating during team on-call shifts by responding to and managing alerts, diagnosing issues with monitoring and observability tools, and documenting and sharing visibility with the rest of the team; * Contributing to the design, development, and implementation of efficient and scalable back\-end solutions that process millions of requests nearly in real time; * Actively participating in organizing, defining, and prioritizing the team’s backlog and roadmap; actively engaging in Mercado Livre’s Go community by responding in standard channels, and fully understanding the scope of services and the direction of new developments; * Participating in solution design for our initiatives, taking a leadership role in internal decisions and joining cross-team meetings to align on solution implementation; **What we’re looking for in you:** * Solid experience in Java development (Spring/Javalin). * Experience implementing Document Search, Key-Value Storage, and BigQuery. * Proficiency in REST APIs: contract design, versioning, best practices, documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger), and testing. * Experience with relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL databases. * Experience with SRE/observability tools: New Relic, Kibana, Datadog, and Elasticsearch. **Are you excited to leave your mark on Latin America’s technology landscape?** Apply now and join our purpose!
