Contribute to the technical growth of the team and system As a **Senior** **Software Engineer** at Mercado Livre, you will design and scale innovative and secure systems that solve real-world, high-impact problems. You will work in a dynamic environment with cutting-edge technology, applying engineering best practices, proprietary AI models, and continuous learning—all aimed at democratizing e-commerce and financial services across Latin America. Imagine\-yourself leading challenging, dynamic, and innovative projects and being responsible for: * Analyzing and developing new features for voice interaction services, including real-time, unidirectional, and bidirectional communications integrated into the Mercado Livre ecosystem. * Defining, in partnership with expert teams, the architecture and development of scalable and resilient services. * Maintaining production systems, supporting support teams in bug fixes. * Supporting developers in adopting and using the platform. * Contributing to the technical growth of the team and system by raising code quality standards and development methodologies, and ensuring application stability and scalability. * Identifying user needs and proposing tool enhancements. **What we’re looking for in you?** * Experience with Java, APIs, microservices architectures, and distributed systems. * Knowledge of Python is a plus. * Experience with relational and NoSQL databases. * Understanding of general system architecture, strong knowledge of cloud-based and microservices architectures. * In-depth knowledge of observability and monitoring tools: DataDog, NewRelic, and Grafana. **Are you excited to leave your mark on Latin American technology?** Apply now and join our purpose!
