If you identify with our purpose, shall we imagine and engineer the future—together? **Responsibilities and Duties** **Detailed Description:** * Analyze environmental data and produce thematic environmental maps related to the mining sector; * Generate land-use data and maps using satellite imagery and orthophotos; and produce vector data through vectorization (aiming for greater detail of areas); * Update the Rural Environmental Registry (CAR) and review existing shapefiles in accordance with state and federal environmental laws; * Update the vector database for land use, Permanent Preservation Areas (PPAs), and Legal Reserves for the IBAMA Declaratory Act; * Maintain the company’s environmental cartographic database up-to-date using a GIS (Geographic Information System); * Design plots for monitoring planting activities on farm properties. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Basic Requirement:** * Bachelor’s degree in Geography (Bachelor or Teaching Degree), Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, Cartographic/Geodetic Engineering, or related fields, with practical experience in GIS and geoprocessing. * Prior experience in the field, ensuring maturity for critical analysis and proposal of solutions. * Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro and QGIS, with hands-on experience handling layers, geoprocessing, attribute tables, databases, data standardization, thematic map creation, and environmental analyses. **You Stand Out If You Have:** * Complementary courses in GIS, geoprocessing, remote sensing, Python, geodatabase, dashboards, or land-use classification. **Additional Information** **Job Characteristics:** * Employment Type: Regular Office (On-site) * Work Location: Mariana/MG **Benefits Included in This Position:** * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Life Insurance * Transportation Allowance * Meal Allowance * Gym Membership via Gympass * Discounts and partnerships with various educational institutions * At Timenow, we believe in the power of ideas—and even more so, in the ability to turn them into reality.
