##### **About the Opportunity**
This role is based at Pronto’s office in **Vila da Serra (Nova Lima/MG)**, with frequent travel (up to 30%) to client sites and mines in Brazil and abroad. Work hours may vary according to operational needs and include both office-based and field activities.
##### **Responsibilities**
* **Design and Prototyping:** Lead projects from initial concept through CAD (2D and 3D), to prototyping and final assembly;
* **Field Integration:** Plan and perform physical installation of systems on heavy vehicles (trucks over 100 tons), develop technical documentation, and train personnel to scale these installations;
* **Autonomy Hardware:** Develop and integrate drive\-by\-wire hardware, including sensor mounts, actuators, and system architecture planning;
* **R&D and Iteration:** Engage in Research and Development projects for new vehicle platforms or continuous improvement of existing hardware kits;
* **Multidisciplinary Collaboration:** Work closely with electrical and software engineering teams on electromechanical subassembly design and vehicle integration;
* **Supply Chain Management:** Source components and manage suppliers to ensure quality of custom parts.
##### **Requirements (Mandatory)**
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields;
* **2 to 5 years of professional experience** in the field;
* Advanced proficiency in **3D CAD tools**;
* Practical experience building mechanical systems (workshop, machining, and/or fabrication);
* Experience in design for manufacturing (**CNC, sheet metal, and 3D printing**);
* **Advanced or fluent English**, required for constant communication with global teams and technical documentation;
* Ability to work autonomously using general guidelines and solve problems efficiently in fast-paced environments.
##### **Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)**
* Prior experience in the automotive or heavy equipment industry;
* Familiarity with **robotic systems** and sensor integration;
* Knowledge of **hydraulic systems**;
* Familiarity with compliance and safety standards (OSHA, CE, ASME);
* Valid Brazilian driver’s license, category B.
