We want to learn about your journey. Join us and grow together. Job Description You will be responsible for conducting tests and assays, analyzing results and data, and issuing reports. Coordinate the laboratory’s daily workflow jointly with the Engineering team and Management; Maintain laboratory facilities and equipment. **Key responsibilities include:** * Train and support Laboratory Technicians I, II, and III in their activities according to operational procedures, ensuring (under area supervision) their application during assay execution. * Conduct risk assessments related to internal laboratory processes. * Organize and schedule sample dispatch for external analyses/tests. * Ensure execution of QA/QC assays and scale calibration, per Process Analyst guidance. * Plan daily/weekly project and geometallurgical assay activities with support from the Process Analyst. * Monitor adherence of CTM assays to planned schedules (projects and geometallurgy), identifying delays, bottlenecks, and proposing solutions. * Maintain organization and up-to-date inventory control of consumables (e.g., buckets, reagents, tools, etc.). * Develop and ensure updating and implementation of operational procedures, supported by the Process Analyst based on technical/laboratory routine monitoring. * Support Technicians II and III in developing the Laboratory Technicians’ competency matrix and keep it continuously updated. * Operate light vehicles. * Record Safety and Process Deviations. Qualifications **The profile we seek for this position:** * Completed Technical Education in Chemistry, Mining, Environmental Science, or Metallurgy. * Valid CRT or CFT registration. * Experience in laboratory routines and technical assay execution, including QA/QC, test conduction (preferably at pilot scale), and quality control of results. * Experience in the Mining sector. * Driver’s License Category B. * Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency.
