Job Summary: Professional to operate heavy machinery such as backhoes and other equipment, performing drainage, earthworks, and paving, as well as cargo transportation and vehicle inspections. Responsible for operation, driving, and basic maintenance of vehicles *A leading construction and paving company is hiring: Heavy Machinery Driver to operate a backhoe.* **WORK LOCATION:** Eldorado do Sul and Guaíba/RS **SALARY:** R$3.398,06 + 40% hazard pay (calculated over the minimum wage) **BENEFITS:** Meal voucher (R$23.18/day) + transportation allowance or fuel subsidy + health insurance + dental plan + life insurance **WORK SCHEDULE:** Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 5:18 PM. **REQUIREMENTS:** Class D driver's license and minimum 2 years of experience in this role. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Operate and drive mini loaders, motor graders, hydraulic excavators, backhoes, rollers, and other equipment mastered by the professional for drainage, earthworks, and paving tasks; * Drive dump trucks to transport loads of soil, crushed stone, sand, and gravel; * Check water levels (cooling system), engine oil, and hydraulic oil levels, reporting irregularities to the maintenance department; * Complete daily evaluation documents (checklist format). * Inspect oil level, radiator water, brake fluids, tires, electrical system, dashboard gauges, tachograph, fire extinguisher, and mandatory equipment for truck operation at the start of each work shift. * Maintain the vehicle’s overall condition and report any mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic defects or abnormalities to the maintenance department; * Strictly comply with Occupational Safety Standards, Environmental Hygiene regulations, and company internal rules. * Other related duties.
